Expectations for the use of Electronic Devices:

1. Electronic devices are off of desks and are stored away out of sight in a pocket, purse, backpack, etc.

2. Ear buds are out of ears and headphones are worn around neck.

3. Use of electronic devices is strictly prohibited during direct instruction time.

4. Inappropriate use of electronic devices at any time is not allowed.

5. If there is an emergency alert the teacher and go to the hall to handle it in private.

6. Electronics may be allowed with specific teacher permission to be used responsibly for the following appropriate purposes:

    1. Looking up facts or definitions

    2. Calculations.

    3. Take pictures of notes or pages in the book.

    4. Record fun moments or demos

    5. Add reminders to calendar

    6. Check grade on IC

If expectations are broken electronic devices may be placed in the cell phone storage bin for the class period or electronics privileges may be banned.
